November turned into a good month! I was happy with a lot of the stays and was happy to have a local lady visiting family over the Thanksgiving week. Things turned out well. The occupancy for this month was 53% and I’m happy with those numbers at The Brick Abode. Here’s where some of the other money went this month.
Expenses
I had the normal expenses this month plus one additional Walmart run to restock the cleaning closet. It amounted to $50 and had to be done to keep the cleaning going. The other expenses were normal like the electricity, gas, and paying the cleaner. One interesting change this month is the new water and sewer fees from the city. Not sure why they changed but I guess they’re looking to upgrade some things so prices are going up.
Total Expenses
The total expenses for November were $361. It was a little lower than the average over the last few months so I was happy with that!
Revenue
We had 4 stays this month and that brought in $1,089 for the month. We also had some longer-than-usual stays too. We normally get some long weekend or quick work week trips but this month we had a few week long stays.
Net Income
The net income for November 2024 was $737. I can’t complain since I have to dig out of the unexpected broken door but I’m happy with any positive numbers especially this time of year!
