Here’s the breakdown for the 2025Q3 results. The Brick Abode is still up and running but the expenses have changed. Here’s what’s going on.

Airbnb Expenses for 2025Q3
We have finally encountered the Centerpoint price hikes this quarter. We’ve seen about 50% hike in our rates. We were lucky that our electricity costs were in the double digits and now it’s in the triple digits. We’ve seen lots of fixed charges added like a fuel surcharge. That’s a tough hike to take. Luckily, we were able to get some better reservations this quarter too.
Total Expenses for Q3
The total expenses for this quarter were $1,828. The big hit was from the large utility bills and new fixed fees. We are lucky that we can take it due to our better reservations this quarter. Water was also up a little due to a new rate but it was only a few dozen dollars. Not the best, but not the worst. The credit card expenses were normal and we had another supply run but that was expected.
Airbnb Revenue for 2025Q3
We were fortunate this quarter that we had 3 longer reservations from a repeat customer which was excellent for the revenue. It really increased the intake so I was happy with that. We also had a few quick weekend stays. Here’s the takeaway. I will gladly take $5,184 in revenue.
Net Income
The net income was $3,356. This was greater than last quarter – almost double. Over $1,000 a month in profit is a wonderful amount! Like always, this amount is going into the payback of the bathroom renovation – only $7,638 left to pay off.
