The rental 2026Q2 showed a great quarter! Things have finally fallen into place, the rental house is now settled down, and the Airbnb had some longer term stays and more reservations than average. Overall, we got a good spring time and things went well! On to summer…and the heatwaves!

Rental Expenses for 2026Q2
I was happy with the expenses for this quarter. There were not big buys like the last quarter and all we had was a few Walmart orders for cleaning supplies. We also had to call an electrician out the rental house and fix a light bulb and switch. It was surprisingly expensive but needed to get done so that is the cost of maintaining the home. Expensive…but not the end of the world!
Total Expenses
As you can see from the graph, $3,295 was the total expenses used this quarter. It was a little less than last quarter but not unexpected. These things cost some money to keep an eye on and manage! I’d always like to spend less but I will keep dumping what I can into the houses to keep them looking good!
Revenue for 2026Q2
The revenue for this quarter was exceptional! The obvious increase is from the new long term rental now that the tenants are settled. That’s been a nice bump in income from them. We also had a good June due to a 3 week stay for a contract work job! I’ll take it. Worker’s do make a good amount of stays for us. I’ll have to do the math on that!
Net Income
The net income for the quarter was $4,255. This was a great bump in profit! This was mainly driven by the new rental. The tenants have been great, pay on time, and let me know when there are problems so I can get them taken care of quickly for them. The next quarter is very much summer time so utilities will be increasing, there could be some AC or cooling repairs, anything’s possible!
